One decade down, a lifetime to go! is a digital poster lending visual elements from common 10th Anniversary wishes and gifts. Happy Anniversary! (Portrait of an artist 10 years sick) is an anniversary photo of sorts of the artist and her invisible illness. The diptych is a description of companionship formed between the person and one's illness. The feelings and emotions related to one's health and body are diverse varying from hate to being proud, from perceiving one's illness as a hindrage to perceiving it as a shield. It is a description of the changing power structures in one's identity as in any relationship.
